Councillor Martin Rodgers wants to reassure businesses and residents in Milnrow that no decision has been made to sell the Edmund Street Car Park and in fact that the ward councillors had met local traders to discuss leasing part of it.
Plans are being made to improve the appearance of the car park and possibly paint new parking spaces including disabled bays. Any income raised by the Pennines would be re-invested in the local community.
